Can you believe it? Ten years! It feels like just yesterday I was dyeing those first skeins in Alaska with my daughter, Caitybug, by my side. Every twist of fiber and every burst of color has been a labor of love—a journey I’ve woven with family, grit, and incredible memories.
To celebrate my first decade, I invite you to join me for a year-long journey. I am looking back at my origins, honoring the loved ones who built this nest with me, and most importantly, celebrating YOU—my incredible fiber family and friends —who have allowed me to soar.

🌸 Quarter 2: Caitybug’s Garden (Caitlynn’s Vision)
This box blossoms with the story of my daughter, Caitybug, and the bond that helped Robin’s Nest flourish. While I was homeschooling her in my original Alaska yarn store, she would explore downtown Ketchikan with her camera in hand 📸. She captured the world through her lens and challenged me to match my yarn to her photos perfectly.
If I didn’t get the shade of that Alaskan wildflower or the deep green of the Sitka spruce just right? I had to do it over! She knew exactly what she wanted, and it was her eye for perfection that set the standard for Robin’s Nest. This quarter, I’m bringing back colors inspired by those original photos—the ones that finally passed the "Caitlynn Test."
🧶 Quarter 3: The Six Strands (My Kids & My Logo)
This is a very special box honoring the heart of my logo: my amazing children, my four boys, Chris, Aaron, Leo (Austin), Adrian, my "bonus" daughter Angelina, and my adorable "grandsquirrels" (the next generation of fiber enthusiasts!). This quarter features unique colorways inspired by their vibrant personalities, celebrating the distinct "strands" that hold my nest together and make it whole.

(Community, Partnership, and the Future)
The final branch of my anniversary year is dedicated to the strength of the nest and the people who keep it sturdy. For ten years, you—my community—have been the wind beneath my wings. You’ve stitched my yarn into your lives and grown right alongside me.
As I reach this milestone, my team is evolving. I am thrilled to celebrate my husband’s official transition into the Robin’s Nest team! After a decade of supporting me from the sidelines, he is now a full-time part of the daily magic. This box represents the "Golden Horizon"—honoring the hard work of the last decade while celebrating the joy of freedom and travel. As we enter this new chapter of life in our new home base of Arizona, I look forward to sharing my love of family and my travel adventures from AK to AZ through unique, inspired colorways and patterns. It’s a celebration of partnership, the peace of a full nest, and the excitement of what’s still to come.
